ARUNDHATI BAITMANGALKAR

FOUNDER & LEAD TEACHER
Arundhati, came to yoga after nearly a decade of teaching dance. Born and raised in India, Arundhati has been teaching since 2006. Trained in vinyasa and hatha styles of yoga from renowned yoga masters. Known for sequencing, alignment and educating her students. She represents a great balance of classical and modern yoga. Her classes are challenging, dynamic, fun and precise. She is one of the leading yoga teachers in the area. She also hosts a prolific yoga blog & podcast. At Aham Yoga, she teaches yoga classes, teacher trainings and workshops

SRUJANA AOUK

INSTRUCTOR
Srujana, is from South India. Through her teaching she strives to communicate that yoga needs discipline and regular practice and not a “yoga body”. Her goal is to make every participant of her classes feel like they’ve accomplished something that day. Her practice is rooted in the classical yoga practices while specializing in prenatal and restorative yoga. She graduated from Aham Yoga’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Spring 2017 and is currently finishing up her 500 hour training. When she isn’t teaching yoga, she enjoys dancing, gardening and playing with her kids.

MICHELLE SPORE

INSTRUCTOR
Michelle is a yoga teacher, professional educator, personal trainer, fitness coach, workshop presenter and active community leader. She is also a Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist. Her private sessions and group classes are engaging and effective.  Michelle has completed her 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Traning and YACEP with Yoga Alliance, and a Certified Personal Trainer with NASM along with other fitness certifications. Michelle is passionate about helping people live and move well and believes that everyone has the ability to access good health with balance and joy.

GAYATHRI BASHI

INSTRUCTOR
Gayathri is a graduate of Aham Yoga's 200-hour teacher training and specializes in pranayama, restorative yoga and gentle yoga practices. Keeping accessibility and adaptability at the core of what she offers, she is also keen to bring all aspects of rest and recovery to caregivers like herself and others. Gayathri is also a certified children's yoga and mindfulness teacher, an outdoor preschool teacher and a children's book author-illustrator. She loves music, books and playing board games with her family.

JAMIE MEEKS

STUDIO MANAGER
Jamie was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest but now resides in Alabama. She helps to keep things organized and running smoothly behind the scenes by managing all administrative functions of the studio. Growing up a competitive cheerleader, she enjoys all things fitness, including yoga! When she’s not working behind-the-scenes for the studio, you can find her spending time with her husband, friends, and two sweet puppies, Tucker and Lola. She also enjoys DIY projects and interior design.

NIMISHA GERA

INSTRUCTOR
Nimisha was born and brought up in Mumbai, India. Her dedicated yoga journey started in early 2019 when she entered Aham Yoga Studio only because she wanted to participate in a dance audition and felt she could use some help with flexibility.
However, little did she know that she would end up falling head over heels for yoga and also go on to become a certified yoga teacher. She completed her 200HR yoga teacher training from Aham Yoga Studio and has been actively teaching yoga since January 2021 in an effort to share her passion, knowledge and benefits of yoga with others. She is also a full time IT Product Manager and a mom of two little munchkins.

SWAROOPA GOLLAPALLI

INSTRUCTOR
Swaroopa loves creating content on social media with focus on living well and creating inner calm amidst the chaos. She commited to consistent yoga journey in 2020 during the pandemic and hasn't looked back since!  She completed the 200-hour yoga teacher training as well as the pranayama and restorative yoga teacher trainings with Aham Yoga and now teaches a variety of classes at the studio. When she's not teaching yoga or managing our social media, she loves spending time in nature and hiking with her family. She also enjoys cooking, baking, DIYs and custom designing clothes with her daughter.
