What is Restorative Yoga?

Restorative is a modern day style of yoga that is focused on increasing your vitality by making you rest deeply. A restorative yogaclass is unlike any other typical yoga class you see everywhere. Through thoughtful use of props, we target the parasympathetic nervous system. Triggering a more rest and digest response with ease. You'll walk away from class feeling deeply rested, revitalized, and calm. That's our guarentee.

In this class, you'll be guided through a practice that is supported by props, long holds and deeply relaxing practices. All levels welcome.

All yoga is the same, right?

Not really. There are different styles of yoga depending on your goals or needs. If you feel exhausted, stressed, anxious, mentally & physically drained, or looking for a sense of calm. Restorative yoga can be a great solution.

Our nervous system is constantly under duress. With everything competing for our attention all the time. While all yoga is good, restorative yoga does specific work. For the energetic body or sukshma shahira as we call it in yoga. You revitalize from the inside out.

You'll have until the day before class begins to sign up for the series.

Yes, but we recommend not eating at least an hour before class as this will make you drowsy in class.
