What is Pranayama?

Pranayama is the world's oldest breathing science & technique. Today, a lot of breath science is nothing but borrowed breathing from yoga. Pranayama classes are essentially breathing exercise experiences. You'll master various breathing techniques to address health goals.

Whether you're looking to improve your energy, focus, mindfulness, manage anxiety or sleep better. Pranayama is the missing piece. Modern science is only now catching up with the importance of breathing as a pillar of physical health and well-being. Something yogis knew 1000s of years ago.

When you attend our pranayama classes, you'll learn the breathing exercises in a structured, clear and relatable way.

  • I avoided yoga for years fearing I would embarrass myself. My daughter enrolled me in Arundhati's class and I LOVED it. Comfortable, accommodating, unpretentious, good humor...I agree with all the other favorable reviews you find here. I highly recommend Aham Yoga as well.

Why you need to start pranayama today?

You breathe more than you do anything else. You live inside your body. Your breath is your sanctuary. Yet you probably only use 20% of your natural capacity. This incorrect, incomplete breathing makes way for physical & mental ailments ranging from poor energy, mood swings, anxiety, lack of clarity to more physical issues like poor digestion, toxin build-up, poor circulation, and more.

These classes will help you develop a healthier, deeper relationship with your breath. For a lifetime. So you can thrive with better mental & physical health every day.
