In all of our yoga classes, we follow the Aham Yoga method. This method comprises of three elements – strength, precision and mindfulness. This method was created by our founder, Arundhati Baitmangalkar after years of teaching and studying Yoga. At Aham Yoga, we break down the yoga poses, explaining how to enter, hold, progress, and exit them safely, as well as educate students about the benefits of the practice. We specialize in high-quality, personalized instructions where you can be guaranteed a better understanding of yoga.

All our yoga teachers are trained by Arundhati in our annual yoga teacher trainings. This makes all our classes consistent and structured. At Aham yoga, we keep a close eye on our clients and their practice needs. If you are looking for a yoga studio that will teach you everything from the basics and help you sustain a consistent yoga practice – our yoga studio is perfect for you. We also offer yoga workshops, yoga teacher trainings and yoga retreats at Aham Yoga.

If you have an injury or condition that needs attention, let us know beforehand and we will guide you to the best class option possible. Our studio is kept at a steady 70 or 72 degrees throughout the year. We teach Vinyasa and Hatha styles of Yoga. Although we welcome you to any class, we offer a levels distinction to help you choose the practice most suitable for you.  It is important for you to attend the class suitable to your level to experience a successful yoga practice. If you are unsure what level you are, let us know, and we can help.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to all classes. Especially if you need to sign up. Classes are on a first come first serve basis. Doors are closed 5 minutes into all yoga classes. All students need to carry a yoga mat, towel and water bottle.

Class Descriptions


Suitable if you have never done yoga or if it’s been a long time since did some yoga. The beginners yoga series is designed to set a strong foundation to build upon throughout the weeks, months, and years ahead. This course will build your strength and flexibility, relieve lower back and neck issues, and leave you feeling energized and refreshed. Suitable for all ages and backgrounds. Level 1:

Suitable for people who have completed Aham Yoga’s beginners yoga series. Gentle to moderate pace. Fundamentals re-explained and practiced. Yoga practice gets a bit more challenging than the beginners yoga series.  We begin to explore newer yoga poses and understand the foundations of vinyasa yoga or flow.

Level 1/2:

Suitable for people who know the basics well, and are looking to go further in yoga practice. This class is for yoga students who are familiar with the basic yoga poses of the Aham Yoga method. And are comfortable with sun salutations and vinyasa yoga or flow. Inversions are introduced in this level. Beginners please check out our beginners’ yoga series. Class is moderate intensity.

Level 2/3:

Suitable for intermediate to advanced yoga practitioners. Yoga class focuses on sustaining a well rounded yoga practice including vinyasa, sun salutations, a vast variety of yoga poses including inversions, arm balances, and backward bends. Suitable for students with a strong , consistent yoga foundation and on-going practice.

All Levels:

This is a multilevel class. Suitable for everyone from Levels 1 to 3. This yoga class is not suitable for beginners. Moderate to intense yoga practice. Progressions and regressions offered for all yoga poses.

Private Yoga Sessions:

Unable to make it to a group class? Schedule a one-on-one session. These are extremely popular with people who have hectic schedules, travel and other commitments but want to begin or continue yoga. The easiest way to set this up to email or call us.


Pranayama is the yogic art of breathing. This unique class covers the essential breathing techniques and practices. This breathing centric practice increase oxygen intake and circulation, calms the mind and nerves, and improves productivity and focus. Excellent for all yoga practitioners. Better suited for people with an established yoga practice. If you are a beginner to yoga, start with our beginners course before attempting Pranayama. This is a seated practice. Kids Yoga:

We offer a summer Yoga Camp for children between the ages of 5 to 9 years. This 12 weeks camp will introduce kids to a variety of yoga poses, breathing games and yoga philosophy in a fun, interactive way. The benefits of Yoga for children are plenty. But in short, kids will become self-confident, have better focus and increase body awareness amongst others. Classes run only during summer. Please check back in April 2018 for updates.

Yoga for tweens/teens:

As part of our summer offerings, we host a 10-week summer camp that introduces preteens & teens to Yoga. Teaching tweens and teens to get comfortable with an ever-changing body, the importance of health, positive body image, how to build strength physically and mentally and more…all through a fun, interactive way of learning Yoga.Classes run only during summer.
