Introduction to Inversions
Long before roller coasters, bungee jumping equipment and skydiving. There was yoga! There seems to be this ‘rush’ associated with being upside down. While it is very thrilling to reverse everything that is normal, ancient yogis did this everyday. But they had a complete different motivation behind being upside down.
In the practice of asana (postures) we call being upside down as “inversions”. We have a variety of them available for practice today. These have a tremendous impact not only on the various systems of the body but also enhances the state of mind. Read more about the benefits of inverting here and also here.
We invite you to join us for an exclusive Introduction to Inversions workshop taught by Arundhati Baitmangalkar this fall. This workshop is tailormade for people who want to learn how to invert safely and the various type of inversion options available. This will be a fun, challenging and insightful experience for all participants. Ideal for those who have a reasonable amount of yoga experience, not suitable for people brand new to the practice of yoga.
